2026 Rule Change Ballot

Proposal 1: A few years ago, the Strat game started restricting roster capacities to match what occurs in the major leagues. Unfortunately, Strat made the rule acceptance as all or nothing. We could not choose what part of the rules we wanted to implement. This causes issues in roster management in September when our rosters expand. The limit of 13 pitchers on a roster is particularly limited. Starting in 2026, the following process may be used during September:

A manager, at his discretion, may leave starters in the minor leagues for September if they make fewer than 4 starts during the month. If a manager uses this option, they are limited to 12 pitchers on their ML roster (so that the starter in the minors may be added to the roster to start his game). Note that these starters will not be available for use in relief. The game manager will promote these starters on the day that they start and demote them the following day when playing the games.

 

Vote YES on Proposal 1 if: you want to the league to have the option of keeping starting pitchers in the minors in September.

 

Vote NO on Proposal 1 if: you do NOT want the league to have the option of keeping starting pitchers in the minors in September.

 

Vote MAJORITY on Proposal 1 if: you have no strong feeling about which way to vote on this proposal and wish to cast your vote with how the majority of the league votes

                                                                                                                                                               

 

Executive Committee Vote: We have 2 managers running for the executive committee this year.  Voting shall be done by secret ballot and no manager may vote for themselves.  We will be using ranked choice voting. Each manager will return a list of 2 choices for who they would like to see join the executive committee, marked as their first, second choice. You may provide just a single choice if you prefer.
