defeated the Caracas Leones in 10 innings by the score of 5 to 4 at Burbank
Park.
Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Burbank ended up
winning it in the 10th inning. Lourdes Gurriel laced a one-base hit making
Burbank victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Burbank
finished with 13 hits while Caracas ended up with 6.
The win went to Jack Dreyer(6-2) who allowed no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
