Center fielder Jung Hoo Lee collected 2 extra-base hits as the Aarlington
Aardvarks bested the Texas Flood 6 to 4 at Lawton Stadium.
Aarlington scored the winning runs in the 8th inning plating 2 runs on 3 hits.
Lee led off and started the rally when he doubled. Brett Baty next to the
plate and he drew a walk. Ivan Herrera then delivered a one-base hit to load
the bases. After an out was recorded, Elly De La Cruz stepped up to the
plate and he doubled plating two runs. Aarlington and Texas each finished
the night with 12 hits.
The victory was credited to Brent Suter(6-2) who went 3 innings, allowing no
runs. Tanner Banks got the save, his 9th. Jason Alexander(1-4) was the
losing pitcher in relief. He got hammered, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks in 2
and 1/3 innings.
