Nathaniel Lowe rocketed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI at Palatine Park as the
Palatine Cubs beat the Burbank Tigers 8 to 7.
Lowe had a great evening at the plate. He had the crowd cheering his every
move. He blasted a solo shot in the 5th inning, launched a three-run homer
in the 6th inning and smacked a single which plated a run in the 7th inning.
Burbank had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.
The victory went to Juan Mejia(3-3) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs.
Camilo Doval earned his 15th save. Mike Vasil(5-5) took the loss in relief.
He was touched for 6 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
'Lowe led the way - we just jumped on his back and let him take us,' Mejia
said. 'I'm glad I don't have to face him. I'm glad he's on my team.'
