Geraldo Perdomo knocked 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Chicago Whales
defeated the Burbank Tigers 11 to 5 at West Side Park.
Perdomo was spectacular at the plate. He cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 1st inning, lost the ball over the fence for three runs in
the 2nd inning and delivered a base-hit which plated a run in the 7th inning.
Overall Chicago out-hit Burbank 14 to 9.
Randy Vasquez(7-7) allowed 4 runs in 5 innings, and picked up the victory.
J.P. Sears(7-8) took the loss. He served up 3 homeruns in his 1 and 1/3
innings.
'The ball was jumping off my bat' Perdomo said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
