Kyle Tucker slammed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at West Side Park as the Chicago
Whales came back dramatically to top the Tampico Stogies by the score of 7 to
5.
Chicago erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning as
they scored 4 runs on 4 base hits. The big moment was provided by Tucker who
excited the crowd when he bombed a two-run dinger. Chicago had a total of 11
hits for the game.
Tyler Phillips(1-4) got the win allowing 1 run in 1 and 2/3 innings. Adrian
Morejon(5-4) was the loser in relief. He was unable to retire a batter
allowing 2 hits and no walks.
'What a game!,' Phillips said afterward. 'When we won it I almost couldn't
believe it!'
