Right fielder Kody Clemens smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Robbie Ray
retired 10 batters on strikeouts at Edsel Stadium as the Dyersville Jurassics
beat the Gotham Gold Gloves by the count of 7 to 4.
Clemens provided the offensive punch. He tripled in the 2nd inning, lofted a
solo-blast 'downtown' in the 4th inning and lifted one out of the park for a
two run home run in the 6th inning. Dyersville ended up with 11 hits for the
game while Gotham had 6.
The winning pitcher was Ray(7-13) who allowed 1 run in 7 innings. Mason Miller
was credited with his 30th save. Dustin May(5-4) was given the loss. He
surrended 3 homeruns in his 6 innings.
Ray was pleased with his performance. He noted, 'I had good command of all my
pitches. Just as important, my location was right on.'
