Julio Rodriguez cracked a homer and had 3 RBI as the Dyersville Jurassics
defeated the Chicago Whales in 10 innings by a score of 8 to 7 at Jurassic
Park.
The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Dyersville won it in the 10th
inning. The key offensive moment was provided by Rodriguez who excited the
crowd when he blasted a two-run home run. Chicago was out-hit by Dyersville,
12 hits to 6.
The victory went to Michael Soroka(3-3) who went 1/3 of an inning, allowing no
runs. Pete Fairbanks(5-8) was given the loss in relief. He was unable to
