35,809 fans watched an exciting game at Poets Field. The Dublin Pubcrawlers
topped the Burbank Tigers by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Finally, Dublin pulled
the game out in the 11th inning. Wyatt Langford initiated the scoring spurt
when he doubled bringing in a run. After an out was recorded, Langford
proceeded to steal third base. One out later, Dillon Dingler was walked
intentionally. Bailey Falter then unleashed a wild pitch making Dublin the
victors to the delight of the home town faithful. The game was a wild affair
with the lead changing hands 5 times.
The victory went to Jeff Hoffman(3-2) who went 1/3 of an inning, allowing no
runs. Falter(4-4) was tagged with the loss in relief.
Dublin now has a record of 50-82. With the loss, Burbank has a record of 6-4
lately, 67-65 overall.
