Troy Melton didn't allow a hit until the 6th inning at The Horseshoe as the
very talented Columbus Crowd beat the Tombstone Huckleberries by the count of
3 to 2.
Melton(4-1) pitched well for Columbus in their victory. He went 6 innings
allowing 2 hits and 1 walk and served up 2 'big flies'. The right-handed
Melton lost his chance for a no-hitter when Jose Ramirez homered with nobody
out in the 6th inning. Tombstone was out-hit by Columbus, 7 hits to 3.
