Spencer Schwellenbach had an impressive outing as the Chicago Whales beat the
Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 2 to 1.
Chicago brought 2 runs across the plate in the top of the 3rd inning. That
early run support was all that Schwellenbach(9-7) required. Dyersville
threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Schwellenbach was helped out by Tyler Phillips who recorded his 8th save.
Robbie Ray(6-13) was tagged with the loss. Jim Aldrich was clearly
disappointed after the game. 'It was a manager's nightmare out there', he
said, 'We should have had this one.'
