Mickey Moniak had 2 base hits at Lateralus Parabola where the New York The
Yanks beat the Borculo Bumble Bees by the score of 4 to 1.
New York scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning when they had 3 base
hits. Miguel Andujar opened up the inning nicely when he drew a walk. Two
outs later Moniak stepped in and he doubled knocking in a run. Otto Lopez
then banged out a single plating another run. Lopez took second on the
throw. Wilyer Abreu was up next and he drew a walk. Jorge Polanco came up
to bat and stroked a one-base hit scoring the final run of the inning. New
York banged out 9 hits on the night.
Ranger Suarez(11-7) got credit for the victory, pitching 5 innings and
allowing 1 run. Suarez got help from Edwin Uceta who was credited with his
4th save. Logan Webb(6-13) suffered the loss.
