Chicago Whales by a score of 6 to 4.
Tampico had the game winning rally in the bottom of the 8th inning scoring 4
runners on 5 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Addison Barger who
excited the crowd when he cleared the fences for a two-run home run. Tampico
had 11 hits overall, while Chicago had 7.
Jack Perkins(2-0) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Perkins got help from Aroldis Chapman who was credited with his 34th save.
Tyler Phillips(0-3) was charged with the loss in relief. He surrendered 3
hits and no walks in 1 inning.
