Brice Turang hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI as the Aarlington Aardvarks
topped the Hollywood Marines by a score of 9 to 2 at Comerica Park.
Turang had a big evening at the plate. He delivered a base-hit which scored a
run in the 6th inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 8th inning and
doubled bringing in a run in the 9th inning. Hollywood was out-hit by
Aarlington, 9 hits to 3.
The victory went to Zack Littell(9-11) who went 6 innings, allowing 1 run.
Kyle Leahy recorded the save, his 12th. Carlos Rodon(11-5) was the losing
pitcher. He was a hard-luck loser, pitching 5 and 2/3 innings and not
allowing an earned run.
