The Tombstone Huckleberries edged the Nimrod Numnuts at The O.K. Corral by the
score of 6 to 5.
Tombstone came up with the deciding runs in the 8th inning plating 2 runs
utilizing 3 base hits. Randy Arozarena led off and started the rally when he
delivered a single. Alejandro Kirk followed next and he drew a walk. After
an out was recorded, Ramon Laureano then doubled resulting in a run. Jose
Ramirez came up and he ripped a base-knock scoring the final run of the
inning. Nimrod threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Jhoan Duran(3-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings. Edwin
Diaz gained credit for his 32nd save. Bryan King(1-3) was hit with the loss
in relief. He allowed 1 run and 2 hits in 1/3 of an inning.
