In a good matchup it was the Streator Reds 8, the reeling Borculo Bumble Bees
6 at Billy Bee Honey Park.
Miles Mikolas(2-3) had a fairly solid outing. He went 5 innings allowing 6
hits and no walks. Borculo tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Carlos Vargas earned the save, his 4th. Andre Pallante(2-5) was hit with the
loss. He allowed Streator 7 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings of work.
'Some losses are harder to take than others' Steve Seydell lamented after the
game. 'This was one of them.'
