Trevor Story blasted a homerun and had 4 RBI as the Tampico Stogies defeated
the dreadful Vernon Hillbillies by the score of 7 to 3 at Busch
Stadium.
Story had a big evening at the plate. He launched a three-run homer in the
4th inning and smacked a single which plated a run in the 6th inning.
Tampico had 12 hits for the night.
Shelby Miller(4-1) allowed no runs in 2 innings, and picked up the victory.
Will Warren(4-10) absorbed the loss. He was unable to control the Tampico
offense and allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
