Green where the Nimrod Numnuts beat the Woodfield Roadkyll by the score of 5
to 4.
Nimrod had 3 runs cross the plate in the top of the 7th inning with the help
of 3 hits. The highlight belonged to Malloy who helped quiet the crowd when
he doubled scoring two baserunners. Woodfield threatened in the 9th but
their rally came up short.
Brad Lord(7-3) went 6 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Jordan Hicks
preserved the game for Lord, recording his his 9th save. The losing pitcher
was Ronny Henriquez(1-7) in relief. He gave up 3 runs in 2 innings of work.
Nimrod won for the 6th straight time.
