Center fielder Nathan Lukes jacked one out of the ballyard as the Chicago
Whales defeated the Gotham Gold Gloves by a score of 5 to 2 at West Side
Park.
Chicago came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning with the help of 5
hits. That early run support was enough for Janson Junk(3-2) and Chicago.
Gotham proved to be no trouble in the 9th.
Tyler Phillips gained credit for his 4th save. Stephen Kolek(8-3) was the
loser. He was knocked around by Chicago, allowing 13 hits and 4 walks in 5
innings.
