The Columbus Crowd nipped the Woodfield Roadkyll 3 to 2 at The Horseshoe in a
hard fought contest.
Columbus tallied 2 runs in the 7th inning. The critical plate appearance was
by Alec Burleson who made the crowd come alive when he doubled bringing in
two baserunners. Woodfield was set down quietly in the 9th.
Trevor Megill(2-1) allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Megill got help from Devin Williams who was credited with his 21st
save. Ronny Henriquez(1-4) was the losing pitcher in relief.
