Left fielder Brandon Nimmo had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Hollywood Marines
won in dramatic fashion over the pathetic Borculo Bumble Bees by a score of 5
to 4 at Billy Bee Honey Park.
Hollywood scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning plating 3 runs on 2
base hits. Cody Bellinger led off and started the attack as he drew a walk.
Trevor Larnach came to the plate and drew a walk. Carlos Cortes then doubled
bringing in a run. Nimmo followed next and he ripped a base-hit as another
two runners scored. Hollywood finished with 9 hits in the victory.
Abner Uribe(6-3) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Taijuan
Walker(2-9) took the loss in relief. Steve Seydell was not very talkative
after his team's tough loss. 'I'm not in the mood for questions, but I'm
sure Brian Anderson will be glad to talk about the game as long as you have
questions to ask.'
