Dillon Dingler hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI as the Dublin Pubcrawlers
outscored the hopeless Streator Reds 11 to 2.
Dublin jumped on top of Streator in the 6th inning plating 3 runs utilizing 3
base hits. Dylan Crews led off and keyed the rally when he banged out a
single. Josh Smith came next and he drew a walk. Wyatt Langford got his
turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. Vinnie Pasquantino came up and he
stroked a base-hit, and an error was also committed, plating a run. Spencer
Horwitz came up to bat and delivered a one-base hit driving home another two
teammates. Dublin finished with 11 hits while Streator ended up with 5.
The win went to David Peterson(5-8) who allowed 2 runs in 5 innings. Peterson
got help from Luis Morales who earned his 3rd save. Taj Bradley(4-8) was
given the loss. He surrendered 5 hits and 1 walk in 5 and 1/3 innings.
Dublin now has a record of 36-60. With the loss, Streator has a record of 3-7
lately, 29-67, worst in the division overall.
