In the bottom of the 5th inning Vernon went on top for good plating an
isolated run on 2 base hits. Overall Vernon out-hit Woodfield 11 to 8.
The win was credited to Chase Dollander(3-1) who went 5 innings allowing 4
runs. Grant Taylor was credited with his 10th save. Cristopher Sanchez(6-8)
was given the loss.
'I didn't have my best stuff but sometimes you just get lucky,' Dollander
said, 'this was one of those times.'
