Left fielder Jackson Chourio ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Billy Bee
Honey Park where the Borculo Bumble Bees beat the Texas Flood by the score of
3 to 2.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Chourio. He delivered a solo blast in the 1st inning, laced a
base-knock in the 3rd inning and clubbed a two-run home run in the 5th
inning. Texas could do no damage in the 9th.
The winning pitcher was Adrian Houser(2-6) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings.
Houser got relief help from Sean Manaea who gained credit for his 1st save.
Nick Lodolo(5-5) was hit with the loss.
'I struggled a bit out there tonight,' Houser said, 'but I toughed it out and
we got the win.'
