Jackson Holliday had 2 base hits as the Illinois Patriots topped the Columbus
Crowd by a score of 6 to 5 at The Horseshoe.
Illinois scored all of the necessary runs in the 4th inning when they scored 6
runs on 4 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Yainer Diaz who
disappointed the partisan crowd when he launched a three-run homer. Columbus
had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.
Ryne Nelson(5-8) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Brad
Keller got the save, his 11th. Tyler Glasnow(3-3) was the losing pitcher.
He was not very effective, surrendering 6 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings.
