Gold Gloves defeated the Tampico Stogies 9 to 1 at Edsel Stadium.
Tampico fell behind quickly as the Gotham offense came through in the first
inning when they came up with 2 runs on 1 hit. That early scoring held up.
Gotham out-hit Tampico for the game, 11 hits to 6.
Valente Bellozo(4-1) allowed no runs in 5 innings, and picked up the victory.
Hogan Harris recorded the save, his 7th. Michael King(5-3) took the loss.
