The Dublin Pubcrawlers nipped the Burbank Tigers 5 to 4 at Burbank Park in a
hard fought contest.
Andrew Abbott(6-4) pitched well enough to earn the win. He allowed 5 hits and
no walks in 5 innings. Burbank had a chance to come back in the 9th but they
came up short.
Abbott got help from Jeff Hoffman who earned his 13th save. Luis
Severino(3-5) took the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 9 hits and 2
walks in 5 innings.
'We didn't get the key hits when we needed them' Wes Davies said. 'We did what
we could, we just didn't pull out the win. What can you say?'
