Shea Langeliers connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI as the Burbank Tigers
topped the Dublin Pubcrawlers by a score of 5 to 4 at Burbank Park.
Bubba Chandler(1-1) earned the victory with a fine relief performance. He
allowed only 1 hit and no walks in 2 innings dropping his ERA from 5.54 to
4.80. Dublin had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Chandler got help from Jalen Beeks who was credited with his 2nd save.
Matthew Liberatore(2-9) was the loser. He was knocked around by Burbank,
allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
Adam Smith was in a sour mood after the game. 'Even you guys up in the press
box know why we lost this game. We made too many mistakes.'
