Taj Bradley(4-5) and Mackenzie Gore(3-5) dueled it out with Bradley and the
Streator Reds coming out on top of the Palatine Cubs by the score of 2 to
1.
Streator had 2 runs cross the plate in the top of the 3rd inning when they
came up with 3 base hits. That was all Bradley needed. Palatine threatened
in the 9th but Streator was able to put down the rally.
Carlos Vargas was credited with his 2nd save. 'It felt really nice to get
this win,' Bradley said. 'I kind of dictated the game. It's what I get paid
to do. It worked out this time.'
