Quinn Priester came through with a solid 3 innings as the Burbank Tigers
outscored the Illinois Patriots 4 to 3.
Burbank scored 2 runs in the decisive top of the 3rd inning when they had 3
base hits. The big moment was provided by Casey Schmitt who quieted the
crowd when he blasted a two-run home run. Priester was great in relief and
recorded his 4th save.
Lucas Giolito(5-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 innings and allowing
3 runs. The losing pitcher was Shane Baz(4-6). Despite the loss, he
struckout 7 Burbank batters in 4 innings.
