Heriberto Hernandez smacked 2 homeruns as the Illinois Patriots defeated the
Burbank Tigers 3 to 2 at Truist Park.
Hernandez provided much of the offense. He smacked a single in the 2nd
inning, hit a one-base hit in the 4th inning, delivered a solo blast in the
7th inning and cracked a solo homerun in the 8th inning. The teams had been
locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.
Lake Bachar(3-0) allowed no runs in 2 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Brad Keller was credited with his 10th save. Sean Burke(4-3) took
the loss in relief.
