Trea Turner had 3 base hits at Burbank Park as the Burbank Tigers pulled off a
dramatic comeback beating the Columbus Crowd by the count of 5 to 4.
Burbank scored the winning runs in the 9th inning plating 2 runs on 2 hits.
After two were out Max Kepler began the rally when he drew a walk. Lourdes
Gurriel followed and he drew a walk. Turner then stroked a base-hit driving
in a run. Casey Schmitt came up and he doubled making Burbank the victors to
the delight of the home town faithful. Both teams totaled 8 hits on the
night.
Jalen Beeks(2-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings. The
loss was charged to Jojo Romero(1-1) in relief. 'What a win!', Beeks said.
'These are the kind of games that stand out in your mind at the end of a
season.'
