separated the combatants at game's end. The New York The Yanks won by the
slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
New York took the lead for good in the top of the 5th inning scoring one
runner on 2 base hits. Taylor Ward lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'. Burbank
threatened in the 9th but New York was able to put down the rally.
The win went to Nick Pivetta(3-3) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. Cade Smith
earned his 9th save. J.P. Sears(2-3) was given the loss.
The New York ballclub's record now stands at 34-30. With this loss, Burbank
