Heliot Ramos lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 2 RBI as the Illinois
Patriots topped the Borculo Bumble Bees by a score of 11 to 3 at Truist
Park.
Illinois jumped on top of Borculo in the bottom of the 5th inning when they
came up with 2 runs on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by Ramos who made
the home-town crowd a happy bunch when he clubbed a two-run home run.
Illinois finished with 15 hits while Borculo ended up with 7.
Dylan Lee(3-4) got the win allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. The losing
pitcher was Tyler Anderson(3-5). Illinois remained hot, improving their
record to 27-37. They now have a record of 8-2 in recent days. With the
loss Borculo now has a record of 21-43, worst in the division.
