Lourdes Gurriel slammed a homerun at Burbank Park as the Gotham Gold Gloves
lost a heartbreaker to Burbank Tigers by the score of 5 to 4.
The game was won by Burbank when they scored a run in the 9th inning. Brent
Rooker drew a walk. Trea Turner followed next and he drew a walk. After an
out was recorded, Ketel Marte then hit a single to load the bases. Ryan
O'Hearn was next to bat, but he was a strikeout victim. Bryan Reynolds came
up to bat and stroked a one-base hit giving Burbank the win much to the
delight of the home town crowd. For the game Burbank out-hit Gotham 9 to 5.
Hunter Dobbins(4-2) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Erik
Miller(0-2) took the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and 2 walks in 1 and
1/3 innings.
