One run was the difference at Burbank Park as the Burbank Tigers put 5 runs on
the scoreboard in the 9th inning and defeated the Woodfield Roadkyll in 10
innings 8 to 7.
Both teams were tied at 7 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally, Burbank
prevailed in the 10th inning. Ketel Marte doubled resulting in an exciting
win for Burbank and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Both
teams totaled 10 hits on the night.
Hunter Dobbins(3-2) allowed no runs in 2 innings, and picked up the victory.
Bennett Sousa(2-2) was hit with the loss in relief. Daulton Varsho ripped 2
homeruns and had 5 RBI in a losing cause for Woodfield.
