Jacob Wilson had 2 base hits and Carlos Rodon came through with a solid 6
innings at Aarlington Field as the Hollywood Marines came back dramatically
to top the Aarlington Aardvarks by the score of 5 to 3.
Hollywood had the winning rally in the top of the 9th inning when they came up
with 4 runs on 1 hit. The critical plate appearance was by Trevor Larnach
who silenced the stadium when he depressed the partisan hometown fans with a
grand slam home run. The game was a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.
The win was credited to Abner Uribe(4-3) who went 2/3 of an inning allowing no
runs. Garrett Whitlock recorded the save, his 1st. Nick Mears(1-1) absorbed
the loss in relief.
'The only way this one could have been better', said Uribe, 'was if we had
played it at home.'
