1,222 fans watched an exciting game at Edsel Stadium. The Gotham Gold Gloves
topped the Borculo Bumble Bees by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
Borculo found themselves trailing quickly as the Gotham bats came through in
the first inning when they came up with 2 runs on 2 hits. Borculo made it
exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.
Dustin May(3-2) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 6 innings. Raisel
Iglesias was credited with his 8th save. Shota Imanaga(1-4) was the loser.
'Some losses are harder to take than others' Steve Seydell lamented after the
game. 'This was one of them.'
