separated the combatants at game's end. The Aarlington Aardvarks won by the
slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
Aarlington did all of it's offensive work in the 1st inning when they scored 5
runs on 4 hits. That early run support was all that Slade Cecconi(2-4)
required. New York threatened in the 9th but Aarlington was able to put down
the rally.
Nick Mears earned his 3rd save. Luis Castillo(2-1) was tagged with the loss.
His ERA ballooned from 2.63 to 3.48 as he allowed 5 runs in 1/3 of an inning.
With this win, Aarlington has a 29-25 record. They have been 7-3 lately. With
