Left fielder Brendan Donovan jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI as
the Tampico Stogies bested the Dyersville Jurassics 8 to 6 at Jurassic
Park.
Donovan provided the offensive punch. He doubled bringing in a run in the 5th
inning, lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 7th inning
and laced a base-knock resulting in a run in the 9th inning. This was a game
of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 6
times in all.
Adrian Morejon(2-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings.
Morejon was helped out by Aroldis Chapman who recorded his 17th save. Carlos
Estevez(2-5) suffered the loss in relief.
