Griffin Jax closed it out for Chicago and Gunnar Henderson hit one over the
fence and had 4 RBI as the Chicago Whales topped the Texas Flood by a score
of 8 to 5 at West Side Park.
It was a good day for Chicago thanks to Henderson. He delivered a solo blast
in the 1st inning, doubled plating all three baserunners in the 4th inning
and singled in the 7th inning. Both teams ended up with 10 hits on the
night.
Spencer Schwellenbach(4-2) got the win allowing 4 runs in 5 innings.
Schwellenbach was helped out by Jax who recorded his 4th save. Hunter
Brown(3-4) absorbed the loss. Chicago knocked him around a bit, as he gave
up 5 runs in 4 innings.
