First baseman Matt Olson went deep and had 2 RBI as the Tombstone
Huckleberries bested the Caracas Leones 4 to 3 at Leones Field.
Tombstone did all of it's offensive work in the 7th inning when they scored 4
runs on 6 hits. The highlight belonged to Olson who quieted the home crowd
when he blasted a two-run home run. Cade Povich(2-1) got help from Edwin
Diaz who pitched a perfect ninth and was credited with his 4th save.
Mike Burrows(3-3) was the loser in relief. He was not very effective,
surrendering 4 runs in 3 innings.
