Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Nimrod was
victorious in the 11th inning. Ian Happ got things rolling when he slapped a
single. Noelvi Marte stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk to
load the bases. Logan O'Hoppe then doubled resulting in an exciting win for
Nimrod and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Nimrod
totaled 9 hits on the night.
The winning pitcher was Bryan King(1-1) who allowed 1 run in 1 and 1/3
innings. Hunter Dobbins(0-2) was tagged with the loss in relief. He gave up
1 hit and 1 walk in 1 inning.
