In an entertaining game at The Horseshoe the final score was the Palatine Cubs
5, the Columbus Crowd 2.
Jackson Merrill had a big day against Columbus. He cracked a two-run shot in
the 2nd inning and tripled which scored a run in the 4th inning. Palatine
finished with 7 hits in the victory.
Hunter Greene(3-1) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 6 innings. Greene got
help from Juan Mejia who earned his 2nd save. Roki Sasaki(0-1) suffered the
loss. Palatine knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 4 runs in 3 and 2/3
innings.
