In a game for the baseball purist, Dean Kremer(1-2) and Mitch Keller(2-3)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Chicago Whales finally emerged
victorious over Dublin Pubcrawlers, 3 to 0.
Chicago did all of it's offensive work in the 2nd inning plating 3 runs
utilizing 3 base hits. Mike Yastrzemski led off the inning for Chicago when
he slapped a one-base hit. Ryan McMahon next to the plate and he doubled.
Victor Caratini then lofted a three-run bomb. That early scoring was all
that Kremer needed. The pitchers took over after the 2nd inning as neither
team was able to score again.
Griffin Jax recorded his 3rd save.
