Maikel Garcia hit 2 doubles as the Dyersville Jurassics defeated the Palatine
Cubs 5 to 3 at Jurassic Park.
Dyersville scored 4 runs in the decisive bottom of the 6th inning when they
came up with 3 base hits. The key at-bat was by Julio Rodriguez who made the
crowd come alive when he hit a 'grand salami' to the delight of his
teammates. Neither team was able to score until the 6th inning.
George Kirby(4-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 7 innings. Carlos
Estevez earned the save, his 8th. Mackenzie Gore(3-1) was the loser.
