The Woodfield Roadkyll offense put up 4 runs on the scoreboard in the 7th
inning and had an easy time of it at Englefield Green defeating the
struggling Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 8 to 1.
Dyersville was unable to recover after Woodfield went ahead in the bottom of
the 4th inning when they scored 2 runs on 1 hit. The highlight belonged to
Daulton Varsho who made the Woodfield fans a happy lot when he clubbed a
two-run home run. Woodfield had 11 hits overall, while Dyersville had 6.
Spencer Strider(1-3) got the win allowing 1 run in 5 innings. Ryan Pepiot(4-3)
suffered the loss. He pitched 6 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 walks.
