Green.
The Woodfield fans enjoyed the offense provided by Varsho. He cleared the
fences for a two-run home run in the 4th inning and clubbed a two-run home
run in the 6th inning. Woodfield out-hit Dyersville for the game, 14 hits to
10.
Brandon Walter(4-2) allowed 2 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory.
Michael Soroka(0-2) was charged with the loss. He was not very effective,
surrendering 5 runs in 3 and 1/3 innings.
