Reese McGuire blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI as the Hollywood Marines
defeated the Dyersville Jurassics by the score of 13 to 7 at Comerica
Park.
Garrett Whitlock(2-1) was brilliant in relief and registered the victory. No
one got on base in his perfect 1 and 1/3 innings lowering his ERA to 2.57.
Hollywood had 15 hits for the game and Dyersville had 7.
Ryan Pepiot(4-2) was the loser. He allowed 8 hits and 4 walks in 3 and 1/3
innings. Wth the win Hollywood now has a record of a division leading 19-15.
With this loss, Dyersville has a 5-5 record of late, 19-15 overall.
