The Dublin Pubcrawlers nipped the Columbus Crowd in 13 innings 3 to 2 at Poets
Field in a hard fought contest.
No runners had crossed home plate after the regulation nine. Finally, Dublin
pulled the game out in the 13th inning. After an out was recorded, Daylen
Lile opened up the rally as he drew a walk. Tyler Freeman followed and he
ripped a base-knock bringing in a run. Vinnie Pasquantino then laced a
one-base hit giving Dublin the win and sending the home town fans into a
frenzy. Both teams totaled 9 hits on the night.
Aaron Ashby(2-0) got the win allowing 2 runs in 4 innings. The loss was
charged to Troy Melton(2-1) in relief. He pitched 2 and 1/3 innings allowing
2 hits and 1 walk.
